They are great
I will admit that it took a long minute to get them on to the wood properly but once you get them attached they are really sturdy and work just as they are promised to in the description. You just have to use the right kind of wood (treated) and right size, 2x8. They held the weight of a big riding mower a few days ago with no problem and have been used daily since and they are pretty sturdy for many types of uses such as loading 4 wheedlers, mowers, etc.. My husband is a small engine mechanic and he is very happy with them to load and unload the tractors and other small engine products.

Exactly what I wanted for moving wheelbarrows around
My crew of landscapers needed a simple solution for getting wheelbarrows over the occasional step when we are trying to apply mulch to a landscape, yet we didn't need one of the bigger aluminum ramps, just something small and simple that we could customize as needed for different jobs. This worked a charm! In about 15 minutes we had turned a couple of simple boards into a set of two ramps that we can guide the wheelbarrow down. What I appreciate is that if were not going to be using it for a few months, you just take a minute at the end of the job to unscrew the boards and then the storage is even easier. This is a great product and an absolutely recommend it for anybody who needs to load occasional things into a truck or occasionally get wheelbarrows down a couple of garden steps.

Once you buy the wood for the ramps and attached it to these plates they work fine. I was able to drive my riding lawn mower right on to my truck or use the ramp to raise the lawnmower high enough to work on it(shhh, don’t tell the manufacturer that). The rubber pads will protect your paint as well.

these ramps are a simple design but very functional. Heavy duty aluminum brackets attached with supplied hardware to a 2 x 8 made a very sturdy ramp to get my four wheeler in the back of my truck.

Though this CargoSmart Aluminum Ramp is a bit of a project to get all set up to use once it’s all set up to go it works great! My husband was the one who went through all the trouble. It was about a day project. When all said and done it did well! The pads protected my husband’s truck bed. It was easy for him to get the riding mower into his truck now. He has to cut his great grandfather’s grass once a week and it was a pain using the push mower. Problem solved! Definitely recommend if you’re up for the project!

Easy to make an all-important ramp!
We just had the pleasure of moving - and this ramp kit was put to great use. My son knew exactly how to set this up, which made it so much easier to load heavy boxes and appliances into the house. Now, that we have the ramp on hand, we’re ready for any piece of heavy equipment - to the house, or to either of the two barns. Great tool for efficient moving!

Very handy simple to put together.
The hardest part of the assembly is getting the wood to attach these ramp plates to. You can change out the boards to accommodate whatever lengths or appropriate thickness you need. We put the two pieces together and made a wider ramp to load a dirt bike then changed out the plates to fit a four-wheeled cart. Simple, easy and very handy. They come apart easily to store in a small space. The pads have adhesive for protection.
