I've used it for 1 week and no problem so far. Beautiful addition to our garden- the one & only issue was that the main spout fitting was very loose & kept popping off- frustration led to a quick fix-used PVC tape around the pump base - with the tape, the seal is tight & stays as it should. I also weighed it down and use only the small fountain head for a shorter spray-because if it sprays high, the breeze can empty the bird bath. I also put colorful glass & stones under it to make sure it doesn't tilt- i’m ordering another one right now!!

It took a bit but finally got it where the sun would keep it a steady stream. Don't get discouraged when placing it, it will pretty much fix itself. I did let it float on its own but bc my patio is slanted, it went to 1 side n didn't do what it was suppose to. So I improvised. I like the fact I can bring it in each night and not have it stolen. I also like that if you put a large rock in the middle of your birdbath it let's the birds land under the water on the rock, and holds everything in place so not to float around losing water withat all thelse splash. I'm still not sure why the different holed attachments since they all pretty much spray the same. But I'm happy with it! And no it does not hold a solar charge. If you're wanting it to hold one, this one's not for you.

We have 3 birdbaths in our front & back yards. We have tried several different solar fountains, and this one is our favorite. One we have has an extended cord for the solar panel, which works great as that birdbath is in a shady area -- so we need the panel to be able to reach the sunny part of the yard. In our sunny backyard, we only need the cordless type of solar panel. We have tried 2 different brands: Ankway, and Madetec. They both look exactly the same. The difference is that the Ankway (which seemed to have great reviews, btw) ONLY LASTED 3 MONTHS. ??? I am extremely careful of how we clean the solar panels. I have no idea why or how it stopped working. We decided to try the Madetec one. SUPER! It worked all last Spring thru Fall, without any issues. We stored the solar panel "upside down" in our emptied out, covered, birdbath for the winter (just used a plastic leaf lawn bag to cover the cement birdbath). We just filled our birdbaths last weeked now that the weather has warmed up for Spring, and the Madetec worked perfectly. The price on these solar panels are great. I am ordering another one for a new birdbath we recently bought. Tips: 1- When cleaning your birdbaths/fountains, make sure you FLIP the solar panel upside down to prevent it from turning ON if the sun should shine on it. Your fountain will burn out if it turns on when it is not in water. To be extra careful, I usually flip it over, and also cover it with a heavy towel while it's on the ground ----or I just move it to a shady area while I clean out the birdbath. 2- Make sure you REMOVE the plastic protective tape on the solar panel before putting it in the birdbath. It's sometimes hard to discern the plastic tape cover from the shiny plastic of the solar panel, so be careful to make sure you are just removing the tape. 3- Keep your solar panel "clean" during use. Residue buildup can lead to the panel not being able to absorb the sun rays fully. I just use a bit of soap and water every few weeks. 4- Clean out the fountain heads and the pump with a hose. Gunk gets trapped in there --- everything from seeds, grasses, weeds, leaves, twigs, to bird feathers can clog the vents. Keep them clean. I clean them out weekly, everytime I clean the birdbaths. 5- Use large river rocks to "anchor" your fountain in place IF you want to use the HIGH shooting fountain heads -- otherwise, you could end up with too much water getting sprayed out of the birdbath/fountain. I love the look of the high spraying heads, but as the suction cups on the bottom of solar fountains do not always adhere them to the bottom of the fountain basin, tons of water was spilling out of the birdbath basin. We bought some larger river rocks from our local hardware store and made a circle in the middle of the fountain basin. This kept the solar panel steadfastly in the middle of the fountain. As a result, the high spray did not spill out of the fountain. It works great. On our other fountain, which is much smaller, the high spray would spill out of the basin even when kept in the middle --- it was just too narrow in diameter for the high spray. We only use the bubble spray head, or the one that has the 360 degree "low spray" --- hard to explain, but it has a waterfall type of effect where the water spills down, vs up high into the air. This head has a flat disk on top --- you'll know what I mean when you look at the heads. This works great for smaller fountains and gives a beautiful effect. hope these tips help!

Install Flash Player I love this product. That being said it does need to be in a spot with direct sunlight. As you can see from my video as soon as my shadow hits the fountain it stops working . This area in my backyard gets 6-7 hours of sunlight. I bought this because I don’t have an electrical outlet in my back yard and this found works perfectly. It saves money, keeps mosquitos from breeding, and makes a nice water feature. I wish however it would hold some power so that it would work when this area becomes shaded in the afternoon.

We have a very small artificial pond with 8 very small brown frogs in residence. Almost as a joke, I bought the solar birdbath fountain pump. It could not be more fun, easier to assemble, or more perfect for our wild life who actually wait until the 14" soft spray floats across the pond's surface and waters them down. They love it and we are going to be ordering more solar pumps for friends with birdbaths. None have frogs that I know of! Super product and wonderfully reasonably priced. By the way, with the water's surface never standing still when the sun is out, mosquitoes don't lay their eggs which is unfortunate for the frogs because that is their dessert, but great for us.!

im addding to a previous post i made regarding this. I was mistaken. there are several spray options and I was choosing one that while great, used up the water. my birdbath is shallow. so, duh, i changed it out and it is now perfect. highly recommend this product. thank you

Bought this as a gift for my father in law and he loves it. They have been upgrading their house and garden and this has been a nice addition. It fits nicely in the fancy ceramic pot we bought for it and looks nice on their porch. The interchangeable heads are nice and he has been experimenting to find the one he likes best. The spray does get weaker when the sun isn't as strong, but it is a solar fountain so that is to be expectex.

It works very, very well and makes me smile every time it shoots the water high in the air.

Great Bubbler! My birdbath is so shallow that I couldn't use the sprayers because it blew the water out too quickly. I took the sprayer off and it works great as a bubbler! Great price, great product! **edit. After a month or so of using this, it just stopped working. I'm going to try to contact the seller to see if I just got a bad one and need it replaced. I love the way it worked but today, it's not working and yesterday it was.
